Hello!

My name is Sydni Rivero, and I am an actress/singer/theater artist based in NYC.  Originally from West Friendship, Maryland, I follow my passions to where they lead.  Something I love in theater is the opportunity to connect with other people and the ability to get loss in storytelling and music.  I love stories that face morality questions, make an audience leave with more questions and hope than they originally came in with, and ultimately celebrates the human experience.

My Story

My love for theater came from a young age, back in my kindergarten play! Since then I have always been enraptured by storytelling and music. From taking the reins and directing/producing my own productions in my basement back in middle school to dreaming about what song Broadway professionals would be closing out on stage in New York while I was home getting ready for bed: my mind has always been driven for the theater.

In college, I learned a lot about who I am: someone who is not afraid of confrontation and knows how to advocate for herself.  I can be assertive, though I do so with an incredibly cheerful attitude.  My ambitions propel me through life and allow me to take advantage of what I want, and I am known for my infectious giggles and wearing a daisy in my hair.  Ultimately, I always like to look for the humor in every situation.

When I'm not obsessing over all things theater, you can find me reading a good book by candlelight or on the go, strategizing over a board game, or laughing about the nerdiest things with my closest friends over lattes or cocktails.

Some pretty awesome fun facts about me:

I am a pretty cheerful individual, and I like to approach life with an optimistic outlook.

If you couldn't tell from my website, I love flowers! Daisies are my favorite.

Green is my favorite color!

I am very passionate about following my heart, which means immersing myself in all kinds of storytelling-theater, tv, movies, books-you name it, I love it :)
